My Story
My journey into instructional design began with a deep passion for education and a desire to make learning more engaging and impactful. As a high school teacher with nearly five years of experience in teaching business, entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, and digital information technology, I witnessed firsthand the challenges students faced in connecting classroom concepts to real-world applications. I knew there had to be a better way to bridge this gap and inspire meaningful learning experiences.
Driven by this realization, I pursued a Master’s degree in Instructional Design, where I immersed myself in the theories and practices that could transform traditional education. I quickly discovered the power of well-crafted instructional materials and innovative technology in shaping the way we learn. This sparked a new passion within me—not just to teach, but to design learning experiences that truly resonate with learners.
From the early days of creating more engaging lessons for my own students, my passion grew into something much larger. I founded Petra's Creative AI & E-Learning with the mission to revolutionize education through innovative, learner-centered solutions. My goal has always been to make learning not just a task, but an experience—one that engages, inspires, and empowers.
In my work, I blend creativity with the latest technological advancements, using tools like Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, ScreenFlow, Adobe Audition, and Adobe AI to craft educational materials that are as dynamic as they are effective. Whether designing a complex e-learning module or developing a simple training program, I approach each project with the same level of dedication and attention to detail, always striving to exceed expectations.
Today, I’m proud to serve a diverse range of clients—from educators to corporate trainers—helping them bring their educational visions to life. My journey as an instructional designer is not just about creating content; it's about making a difference in how people learn and grow.
